AI Local Recorder (hereinafter referred to as "the Software" or "we") deeply understands the importance of privacy to you. This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we handle your information.

Core Principle

All data processing is done locally on your device. We do not upload any of your data to any server, nor do we share your data with any third party (including third-party AI services).

1. Information We Collect

We Do Not Collect Any Personally Identifiable Information

AI Local Recorder is a fully offline application. All functionality is processed locally on your device. We do not collect any of the following information:

  • ❌ Audio data

  • ❌ Speech recognition results (text)

  • ❌ AI model generated content

  • ❌ Device information (e.g., device model, OS version, IP address, etc.)

  • ❌ Location information

  • ❌ Usage statistics

In short: Your recordings, texts, questions, and answers belong only to you and stay on your device forever.

2. Data Storage

  • Recorded audio files are saved in your device's local storage

  • Speech recognition generated text is saved in your device's local storage

  • AI model conversation history is saved in your device's local storage

We cannot access, read, copy, or transmit this data. When you uninstall the Software, all local data will be deleted.

3. Data Deletion

You can delete your data in the following ways:

  • Delete recording files or text records directly within the App

  • Uninstall the Software (all local data will be automatically cleared)

4. Permissions

This Software requires the following permissions, used solely for on-device processing:

You can enable or disable these permissions at any time in your system settings. Disabling permissions may affect the normal use of certain features.

5. Third-Party Services & AI Data

This Software does not use any third-party data analytics services, crash collection services, or advertising services.

The built-in AI models and speech recognition models in this Software are all local models running on your device, and do not call any cloud APIs. Therefore:

  • Your recordings, text, or any data will not be sent to any third party

  • Your data will not be used to train any AI models

  • Your data will not be used for advertising or user profiling

6. Children's Privacy

This Software does not collect personal information from any user. We encourage parents to supervise their children's app usage. This Software is not designed for children under 13 years of age, nor does it knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will publish the updated version within the App or on the official website. Material changes will be notified through one of the following methods:

  • In-app pop-up notification

  • App update changelog

  • Official website announcement
